Stacey: The book signing went really well this last weekend!

Roni: Yes, Judy asked us to thank everyone who came out to see her. She had a really great time and met some wonderful people.

Garren: *ahem*

Stacey: We might put up some pictures after we get some.

Roni: We're waiting for some emails from people who took pictures for us.

Garren: *AHEM*

Stacey: Apparently, Garren has something to say.

Roni: Yes, Garren?

Garren: I have NEWS!

Roni: Well...don't keep us waiting...what is it?

Garren: I have a picture for everyone!

Stacey: You have a picture?

Garren: Yes, I do. Judy gave it to me...

Stacey: Well, let's see it.

Garren: TA DA!

Stacey: EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! It's my book cover!!!

Garren: Yes, it is!

Stacey: When did you get this???

Garren: Just now...Judy put the final touches on the book yesterday. 

Stacey: Do we have a release date yet???

Garren: Not yet, but SOOOOON!!!

Stacey! I AM SO EXCITED!!!

Garren: Is this where we cut her off from the coffee?

Roni: Probably not a bad idea at this point.

(Stacey is hopping around in the background twirling and squealing like a school girl)

Garren: Yep, no more coffee for her.

Roni: But, as soon as we have a release date, we'll post it here.

Garren: Expect it soon...like within a couple of weeks!

Roni: As long as all goes well with the proof copy.

(Stacey runs by waving her arms)

Garren: Is that what I'm like?

Indigo: Yep. Like looking in a mirror, isn't it?

Garren: Except I don't have blue streaks in my hair.

Indigo: You don't have hair.

Roni: *ahem* Yes, well, we'll leave it at that, and we'll post a release date soon.

(Stacey stops jumping and comes back to the computer)

Stacey: I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!

Book Signing!

Garren: Today's the big day!

Stacey: My book sees the light of day for the first time!

Garren: Oh yeah, that too!

Stacey: Nice, Garren. Thanks a lot.

Roni: What my two anxious friends are TRYING to say, is that today is Judy's book signing at the Red Mountain Library.

Stacey: Yeah, we're all packed up and ready to go.

Roni: Except that we're not invited.

Garren: Wait? What?

Roni: We're staying home, Garren.

Garren: What!? We're not going?

Roni: No, sweetheart, you're a fictional character. You can't go.

Garren: I'm a chickshenal faracter?

Indigo: You're not real.

Garren: Yes, I am.

Stacey: Garren, it's okay. I can't go either and my book is having its pre-debut.

Garren: But I AM real.

Roni: You're real to us, Garren, but the people at the library won't be able to see you.

Garren: Then why can't we go?

Stacey: He's got a point.

Roni: *giving up* Whatever.

Garren: Everyone has to remember to tell Judy I sent them to get their free copy of Sally and the Buccaneers!** And if I sent them, then I'm REAL! 

Roni: *sighs* Okay, Garren. You're real. You can go.

Garren: Woot! I'll see everyone there! *Garren flies out the window*

Stacey: How long do you think it'll be before he realizes that he doesn't know where the library is?

Roni: Not too long. But he may get lost before then...

Stacey: Well, for everyone else in Mesa, the library is on Power Road, just north of University Drive. It'll be on the east side of the street, and they have a big sign, so you can't miss it.

Roni: And if you happen to see a nine foot-tall red dragon flying aimlessly overhead, let Garren know how to get there.

Indigo: Aren't you supposed to NOT tell a secret?

Garren: Tomorrow, if you go to the Red Mountain Library to see Judy at the Local Author Fair...and you tell her that you read her blog...she'll give you a FREE signed copy of Sally and the Buccaneers!
